History of the seminar
The seminar is devoted to the cherished memory of Professor Nedin Igor Valentinivich, who was the founder of scientific school studied problems in economic security in Ukraine. He was an enthusiastic in researches on sustainable development, environmental management, economic and energy modeling of processes and systems. Professor Hedin I.V. has held the annual scientific seminars with international participation in different parts of Ukraine and abroad.
The organizers of the first seminars were mostly his students, colleagues, friends, associates.
Nedin I.V. (1944-2008) was Doctor of Science in economics, Professor at the Faculty of Heat and power engineering, National Technical University of Ukraine "KPI". He has degrees of "teacher-researcher", "Honored Power Engineer of Ukraine". Professor Hedin I.V. was awarded by Government badge "Petro Mohyla", medals of Exhibition of Economic Achievements (VDNKh) both of the USSR and of the UkSSR.
